Our Leather Quick Release watch bands are equipped with integrated quick release spring bars that allow you to insert or remove the band in a matter of seconds.
We utilize top grain bovine leathers that are hand selected and aniline dyed. Our dyes are selected to strike a balance, providing the desired finish and color while still allowing the natural appearance of the leather to shine through. The underside of the leather quick release watch band utilizes a thin strip of leather that has been specially treated to provide a soft and comfortable fit against the wrist.
Our stitch pattern wraps around the full perimeter of the band and includes extra loops at the end nearest the spring bar - for both aesthetics and strength. Each band is individually stitched using durability-tested thread.
Our Top Grain Leather Quick Release straps come in two different sizes, Standard Length and Long Length (limited colors available). Standard Length fits wrists 5" - 8" inches in circumference while our Long Length fits wrist 7.5" - 9" inches in circumference. Please note, watch geometry may also impact fit. Our leather watch bands use 316L stainless steel buckles where others use iron or aluminum. Iron components rust and need to be bulkier and heavier to achieve strength comparable to that of stainless steel. The finish on both treated iron and aluminum parts can weather or wear off, leaving a dull, scrap-metal appearance. If you take a knife to our stainless steel components, you will find a material that 1) is solid all the way through, 2) is difficult to scratch or bend and 3) maintains its initial shine for many years.
